Origin is a Spirit-filled Christian church movement devoted to planting healthy, Bible-centered churches in cities around the world. We believe the future of the Church is found by returning to the ancient rhythms of prayer, Scripture, discipleship, authentic community, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Every Origin church is locally led, deeply rooted in its city, and united by a shared commitment to faithfully proclaim Jesus. People who love Jesus. People hungry for the Holy Spirit. Couples called to plant. Leaders willing to serve before they're seen.

We believe every city deserves a healthy church. Not because Origin needs more locations. But because people need places where they can encounter Jesus, grow in authentic community, and be formed into lifelong disciples. Church planting isn't our strategy for growth. It's our response to the Great Commission.

We pursue His presence with humility, believing that spiritual gifts, prayer, worship, and biblical teaching work together to point people to Jesus rather than to personalities or experiences.

We partner with couples and leaders who feel called to plant healthy, Spirit-filled churches. Church planting with Origin is built on formation before launching, emphasizing spiritual health, biblical leadership, and long-term sustainability. Rather than simply sending people out with a model, we invest in leaders who are called to faithfully serve the city God has entrusted to them.

Origin is led by Josh and Lexi Andrew, who have spent years serving the local Church through pastoral ministry, leadership development, and church planting. Their heart is to see healthy, Spirit-filled churches planted around the world that are deeply rooted in Scripture, dependent on the Holy Spirit, and faithfully serving the cities they call home. While Josh and Lexi provide vision and oversight for the movement, Origin is intentionally built around local leadership. Every Origin church is led by pastors who know, love, and serve their own community, ensuring each expression of Origin is shaped by the people and place where God has planted it—not by a centralized model or personality.

Origin is growing through locally led churches in cities around the world. Each church shares the same biblical convictions while faithfully serving its own community. As the movement grows, every new location reflects both our shared DNA and the unique culture of the city where it is planted.

There are many ways to build with Origin. Depending on your gifts and the needs of each location, opportunities may include hospitality, kids, worship, production, prayer, creative, photography, administration, setup and teardown, communications, and community leadership. We believe every person has a role to play in building a healthy local church.
